Temporary Housing
Temporary housing is available on a limited basis for those needing a place to sleep for a short period of time. A dormitory-style residence hall, with several beds per room, can be reserved at a cost of $15 per night. If you wish to reserve a space, please contact us prior to your arrival by phone (618-453-5774), fax (618-453-7660) or e-mail (oiss@siu.edu).
Due to the fact that spaces are limited, reservations need to be made in advance to guarantee that a spot will be waiting for you. If you are not interested in temporary housing in our residence hall, please feel free to make your own arrangements. There are a number of local hotels that you may contact in order to make reservations.
