The Little Grand Tour of Architecture or Le Petit Grand Tour d'Architecture is one of the most successful travel study programs at SIUC. We investigate the interconnected nature of the arts, history, environmental psychology, and architecture using the built environment as the foundation for the study. Students will learn to critically examine the built environment by learning how architecture expresses human cultures, social structure, economic and political status, and spiritual beliefs. ARC 444 is open to all majors and is identified as an Interdisciplinary University Core Curriculum course substitute for ARC 314i - Expression in Architecture. |
